Aid Stations, Crew & Cut Offs

We will have 6 aid stations for the 50 Mile race. I’ve included the GPS coordinates for the locations as well as instructions on how to get to each of the aid stations where crew access is allowed. Crew access is ONLY permitted for 11 & 14. No crew access is permitted at 1, 2, 3 & 10.

All aid stations will have standard event toilets available.

Drop bags will be available starting at Aid Station #3. Please bring your drop bags to the start no later than 30 minutes prior to the start. The salt desert is a unique environment, and wind is generally a constant. As a result, if the winds are high, the aid stations may not have shade canopies as you’ll find in many of the other 50’s. Plan accordingly with your aid station bags and/or crew support.

In order to eliminate multiple conflicting aid station numbers we will be using the aid station numbers based on the 100 mile run for ALL distances. You will not be running through 1-6 even though you only have 6 aid stations. The 50 miler will run through aid stations 1, 2, 3, 10, 11 & 14.

Pacers:

Pacers are welcome to join you starting at AID STATION 11 & continue with you for the remainder of the race. Please only plan on swapping out pacers at aid stations which have crew access (11 & 14) as dropping off a pacer is not a reason to go to a “closed station” & we do not have time to provide transportation to aid stations.
